HoH: Where to start?
Ive done a lot of PvE and it seems to be all exhausted by now. I wanted to start doing PvP, inpreticular the Hall of Heros, the problem is I have no clue where to start. I use a Warrior mostly, but also have a Monk built. Any suggestions or guides would be greatly appreciated.
(I appoligize if this question has been asked before, and if this is the wrong forum, please don't flame me, GWG.com has a lot of forums, and the search feature isn't that effective most of the time.)

Best advice would either join a guild or go with friends. You will get into it more if you go with people you know or people you are comfortable with. Having a decent guild or friends to play with is the best way to get into pvp.
Also there is this build going around, hmm what was it called? IWAY or something? It's a decent build and an easy one to play but really, it's overused by too many people for the wrong reasons. It is a very easy build and easy to learn, but you won't see much of the other things pvp can do so try other things. Try the build but don't stick with it, there are other ways of learning HoH and overusing a build is not that productive.

Yes IWAY is your best bet to start with, just make yourself a W/R and go to euro/american dis1. You will prob get blindly invited to a group with lots of ranger and warriors and few necros inside. Accept the invite and have fun.

Please don't encourage him
But seriously, you'll want to do an IWAY or two... but don't make it a habit!

Expanding your friends list and/or joining a guild is the best way. It gives you flexibility far more than a PUG can.
IWAY is good for beginners - say up to rank 3 or less. After that I highly suggest switching back to your main class and sweating it out.

if you don't have a pvp slot, try making one
then, first use all your faction to unlock all items and runes ( but you have played pve alot, farmed maybe etc., so not many left i hope ^^ )
when you want to join a group, don't "say" too much...try to be silent, yet learn alot
i guess you can only play W and monk so far, and try factioning skill by skill the other professions...

Some people probably won't agree with me, but I would say to play Random or Team Arena for a while, especially if you're planning to play warrior. It can teach you when to turn on frenzy and when to switch to sprint, how to build adrenaline effectively, etc. Use the observer mode too, as it shows you way top players run their builds. I would also suggest downloading Teamspeak and Ventrillo, as any group worth their salt will be using them.

Go to CA for a while, the random 4v4. PvP is different than PvE. And although it helps to be PvE competent, it only prepares you marginally for PvP.

IWAY is horrid now; I don't suggest it. Plus, must IWAY are rank 3+ groups, and wouldn't let you in, terrible though they are. It would take ages to get to rank 3 even if you did find or make one.
